Parallel Piping-After some research, it was found that while this method of piping is more complicated and is more expensive due to the extra piping, the refilling time is reduced, meaning less time wasted waiting at the pump.

HOW DOES THE DDF SYSTEM WORKS ?

START UP/ IDLING

Engine Running on Diesel only

During engine start up and idling, only diesel will be used.

LOW SPEED/HIGH LOAD

Engine running with 20% gas substitution rate

The DDF system will engage and start injecting gas into the engine according to a defined ECU mapping ratio. This will provide strong acceleration and also help to reduce diesel consumption.

CONSTANT SPEED

Engine running on an optimised 60% gas ratio 

At a constant speed of 80-90km/h, the DDF system will inject an optimised substitution ratio of gas to diesel. This will bring the maximum diesel savings to the customers.
